MLG ButtonMajor League Gaming, MLG for short, is the largest professional and amateur league out there. They have PC and console leagues. They even offer online tournaments for some cash$$. Of course, if you really want to make some dough, you must travel to the big events. But either way, it's a great place to either find a competitive team or maybe just meet some friends to play with. It's great fun and they have a quite a few games to compete in. I'm definitely big into gaming, or at least I was. I'm only a recreational player now. However, back when I was a pro, the CPL was the big league. The CPL paved the way for MLG years ago. The CPL hosted the big world championship events. I was lucky enough to place a few times and even took home the gold once. If you want to see if you've got what it takes, is the place to go. GotFrag ButtonGotFrag is the largest gaming news and community website out there. They've been around for about 7 or 8 years now. This was the place I visited to catch up on all the gaming news, match updates and league info. They closely followed the upper-level invitational leagues in the most popular games. I remember when it first started up; it was obvious that it was going to be the place to go if you wanted to be in 'the-know' about competitive gaming. Back when I played Counter-Strike, Halo, Call of Duty, etc, they tracked the invite leagues I was proud to be a particpator in. It was cool to see my name up there knowing tons of others saw it too. I had an occassional interview or feature now and again, but it's nothing compared to the players these days. The biggest reason for this is because GotFrag and MLG have partnered up. If you want to be somebody, you have to get an account at both GotFrag and MLG. Then you're on your way to being a pro... maybe. =)
Xbox Live ButtonI doubt I have to say much about this website. Even if you aren't a gamer, you've probably heard of Xbox LIVE. It's the biggest online community with tons of supported games. Xbox LIVE is a major part of the MLG league. Like I said, though, I don't have to say much more about this one. If you don't already know what it is, you probably never will.
Newegg ButtonI can't even begin to describe how amazing Newegg.com is. They are probably the biggest and best computer parts retailer on the net. They are so huge now, they pretty much sell anything electronic, and even some other things as well. The reason I've linked to it is because I've purchased countless items from them. They have unbeatable prices and their shipping speed is unmatched. They also have great sales and frequently offer free shipping. If you aren't lucky enough to find a sale you like, you can at least count on getting a discount for buying multiple items. I've built so many computers, both for myself and friends with Newegg parts. I swear they ship faster than anyone else. It literally takes about 48 hours from when you hit the submit order button to having the box on your doorstep. However, if by chance you aren't completely satisfied, they have a great RMA policy.
Nissan Club Button NissanClub.com is a fairly large and active community for Nissan owners. There's quite a long list of forums, which range from somewhat to extremely active. Most of the forums are dedicated specifically to a particular Nissan model. The most active forums tend to be the ones for Nissan cars. The Maxima, Altima and 350z forums are highly populated. Each of those model specific forums are broken down into even more specific forums distinguished by the model year. It doesn't stop there, though. It also has a wide variety of general forums like engine performance, auto detailing, member's rides, car audio and even a buy/trade/sell forum. I tend to frequent the 02-06 Altima general discussion forum, but I definitely like to check out the buy/trade/sell forums to see if there's any good deals. I've bought a few things from members and I've been very happy with the result. My point is, I can pretty much get any question I have, no matter how specific, answered within an hour or so. I've done quite a bit of work on my Altima, but I couldn't have done it without the NissanClub community. I could go on and on, but I highly suggest that if you are into cars, particularly your own make/model, it would be wise to search the internet for a community like this one. NissanClub may not be for you, but I still wanted to at least show you an example of a website that is not only for enthusiasts, but even for novice drivers as well. =) Go find a place like this for your car and I guarantee you will be thankful you did. It doesn't matter how simple the question, members are often very helpful and timely with their responses, even if you only have a simple question. I highly suggest it.
